Conversate sounds like an interesting capability to have on a website. Here's their pitch: "Conversate lets you create instant online discussion spaces. It's simpler, faster, more polite, and less annoying than group emails." I received a notice about it from downhillbattle.org which is an online activist website primarily focused on changing legislation associated w/ copyright law as well as changing the way the music industry operates. The group of activists that visit and support the site have come up with several tools to promote political activism. This is one of them. I haven't tried it yet myself... but plan to later. In the meantime... I'm doing laundry and cleaning up the house.
