Ugh, this doesn't look good. Anytime Russia and China get in bed together... I can't imagine it's a good thing. While Russia is "democratic" now... their democratic success has been shaky at best. Could this be the beginning of a slide away from capitalism towards a centralized economy? China's mix of capitalism and communism seems to be working fairly well from an economic stand point... (we'll just ignore the human rights aspect for this argument). Why shouldn't Russia move more towards the type of economy that China enjoys?
