Considering various options for insulating the garage. I'm now beginning to think about that as "my workspace". One of the things that I have to figure out how to deal with is stopping the dropping of "dust" from the ceiling. I think the dust comes from impact/vibrations on the roof... So... the thought is that I would put up a barrier between the roof and the workspace. That works since I want to insulate anyway. I had been thinking about using celotex foam insulation board between the trusses. However, I'm also looking now at the possibility of using some sort of spray-on insulation. It looks like it may actually be close to the same in price and I think the spray-on insulation may provide better insulation and potentially be just as easy to apply. Any way I look at it... it'll probably cost me a few hundred dollars. Tough part is deciding that I'm going to spend the money when money is tight right now.
